The Simple Things

On my way home from school on Thursday I walked past the stands selling toys and trinkets outside the primary schools and I saw bubbles.  I decided to buy some and when I got home I took the boys outside to play with them.   Tristan found a way to make the bubbles about sword fights-no big surprise there.  The goal was to pop all the bubbles before they hit the ground (with the light savor of course).  He gave himself a good workout and did pretty well, too. Check out others embracing the simple things in life at Simple as That.

New Cafe

I love to go out for brunch and once in awhile when we are feeling too lazy to cook dinner too.  But with the boys it has to be a very little boy friendly place.  We have our place to go for barbacoa but it is strictly a weekend place.  Then just recently a little cafe open up in the center which is perfect for us AND it open all week.

They have a cute outdoor seating area.

They provide table games such as jenga, errr building blocks.

The food is simple but yummy.

REALLY Yummy!

And their tables have built in ramps for Rayo McQueen.

What more could we ask for?

Lazy Sunday Walk

Toys

This weekend was a lazy weekend.  We didn't do to much besides go for a walk, go to the center for some ice cream, and play around the house. Sunday during Noah's nap Tristan was a little bored so Edgar and he got out ALL his toys.  He has tons of cool playmobile and dinosaur toys and they all come with tons of mini accessories that we normally keep away in bags (when Noah is around).  It took Tristan and Edgar a quite awhile to set them all up and it entertained him for hours (Edgar too).

Superman

It has been over a year.  Maybe someday I'll have the time to go back and catch up but for now I'm going to try and start fresh in 2013!  So here is the my first entry.

When Grandma and Grandpa came for a visit from Denver they brought superhero costumes.  The Spiderman costumes have been a HUGE hit.  "Thanks Grandma!" On Friday the boys insisted on wearing them to school and then continued to wear them all weekend long.  Today even little cousin Ana got into the Spiderman mania (she's got the Spiderman action figure).  When we got home I finally wrestled the costumes from the boys so they can get washed (VERY necessary, yikes!).
