In Malinalco At Last

This post comes about 2 months late but I can still remember how good it felt to finally arrive in a our new home. To finally have a home again!

This is the view from my kitchen. It looks out onto the mountains that surround Malinalco.

Guayaba! Guayaba everwhere. Noah LOVES it.

One of Noah's first words was cow, thanks to our new neighbors.

Horses (and donkeys) are still used by many for transportation here in Malinalco.

Our street.

Another view of our street.

Casa Diaz. A work in progress.

The Great Escape

Abuelita has a back porch that is enclosed. One would assume, that an area that is enclosed and has a gate with a latch, would be Noah-proof. WRONG. He has learned how to lift the latch and escape.

Look at that sweet expression. Who would guess he was planning his escape. If you look close you can see I even attempted to put a bread tie on the latch to keep him in.
But....
Nothing can keep Noah in!

Trampoline

When we first arrived in Mexico we stayed with Edgar's parents for a couple of weeks while we waited for our house in Malinalco to be ready. Besides Abuelita and Abuelito the best part of their house in Metepec is the huge trampoline in their yard. This day Tristan had some friends over and they had a ball jumping until they were all worn out.
